BORAGE

Origin: Mediterranean.
Borage is an annual herb in the Boraginaceae family of flowering plants with a taste close to that of the cucumbers, with a firm, cantaloupe aftertaste.
As a medicinal plant, it has served many purposes since ancient Rome to the present. Pliny the Elder thought it was an anti-depressant, and it was long thought to give courage and comfort to the heart.
