Broccoli is a nutritious green vegetable belonging to the cabbage family with a crunchy, thick, slightly bitter taste, with a definite aroma of broccoli. It is assumed that initially, broccoli was grown for several thousand years, but its history as an acclimatized plant is unclear before the Greek and Roman times when it was a quite well-known garden crop.
