Corsican Persian Basil is an annual herb highly regarded for its balanced, peppery and mildly sweet flavour with a hint of liqourice. It is typically grown for its edible qualities, although it does have ornamental merits as well. It is also a favorite with French cooks, who have traditionally used its leaves in soups and salads.
