Origin: Mediterranean basin and Near East; southwestern Asia, possibly northwestern India, Pakistan.
Pea shoot is a herbaceous annual plant with crunchy, quite sweet, very raw, just like pea flavor. Traditionally pea shoots were used in Asian cuisines.
