White Pea Shoots is a herbaceous annual plant, a variety of Pea Shoot with a crunchy, slightly sweeter taste compared to common pea shoot. Pea shoots are tradionally used in Asian cuisines.

Additional Information:

Color and texture: Sango reveals a reddish-white stem and intense purple-russet colored cotyledons. It is the darkest of any of the red sprouting varieties.

Nutritional information: As all the brassica vegetables, red radishes contain plant compounds that turn into isothiocyanates. Cholesterol and sodium levels in radish sprouts are very low. It is also a good source of vitamin A, thiamin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid, calcium, iron and copper, and a great source of vitamin C, niacin, vitamin B6, folate, magnesium, phosphorus, and manganese.
